I know what’s it like to be a teen ager . Being a teen is a crazy time in everyone's life because this is the period where you go from a 8th grader in middle school kid to a high school freshman. You have to start figuring out how all your classes are going to be, the campus which lucky for foothill is not that big so can really never be late. Starting sports on a high school team and figuring out time for homework. This year as a freshman is new and exciting experience.
Now that you are in high school you get the feeling that you are a teenager and that's a whole another thing in itself. You’re trying to figure out who you are and what type of friends you want to hang out with, what everyone thinks of you. You want to be able to go anywhere but can't drive where you want to go. Get more responsibility from parents to do chores and “ help around the house”. It's the age where you want to be seen as an mature but dont want the responsibility of maturity.
All of your teachers are trying to help you set up a foundation of what you should want out of school. But there plan isn't for everyone and what their choices of career don't have every option. That is the hardest part at this age is deciding what you want to do and what classes you can take to be what you want. If you mess up then you won't be able to do what you want in your future. Also test and grades define what type of kid you are because if you don't have a’s then you must not care about school. Which is not far because as a teen we are going through a lot from our bodies changing physically and mentally.
